You can now Single Sign-On (SSO) / Login into Frontline Education LMS using WordPress as Identity provider (IdP) with Login using WordPress Users (WP as SAML IDP) plugin. Our plugin gives you the ability to use your WordPress (WP) credentials to Single Sign-On (SSO) / Login into Frontline Education LMS. Here we will go through a step-by-step guide to configure SSO between Frontline Education LMS as Service Provider (SP) and WordPress as an Identity Provider (IDP).

Pre-requisites: Download And Installation

Follow the Step-by-Step Guide given below for Frontline Education LMS Single Sign On (SSO)

1. Setup Frontline Education LMS as SP (Service Provider)

• Login to the WordPress site as Admin.
• Go to the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the IDP Metadata tab.
• Here, you can find the Identity Provider Metadata URL /XML Metadata or endpoints like IDP Entity ID, SAML Login URL, SAML Logout URL (Premium Feature), Certificate for SP configuration.

• Log into the Frontline Education account as a System Admin.

• Navigate to System > Account & Services > Single Sign-on.
• Once you have clicked the button, you will be brought to the Single Sign-On Settings page.
• Now Enter the required fields Name, Subdomain, Trust Identity URL, Login URL,
  Logout URL, Certificate.



Name	Frontline Education
Subdomain	Enter a sub domain name of your choice, such as your company name, with no spaces. Note: This will generate Single Sign-on URL and Metadata URL on the right side of the screen
Trust Identity URL	Provide the IDP-EntityID / Issuer URL from IDP Metadata tab of the WordPress miniOrange Plugin
Login URL	Provide the SAML Login URL from IDP Metadata tab of the WordPress miniOrange Plugin
Logout URL	Provide the SAML Logout URL from IDP Metadata tab of the WordPress miniOrange Plugin (Premium)
Certificate	Download the Certificate from IDP Metadata tab of the WordPress miniOrange Plugin


• Navigate to your profile,then select My Profile.

• Switch on the Use single sign-on option, then click Save.

Note: If you toggle the Disable email login option, you will not be able to sign-in through your regular log-in page.

2. Configure WordPress (WP) as IdP (Identity Provider)

• You would need the Metadata URL from Frontline Education LMS.
• Login to the WordPress site.
• Install and activate the Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin on your WordPress site which is acting as Identity Provider.
• Go to the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Service Provider tab.
• Enter the corresponding Metadata URL from frontline Education LMS.


• Click on the Fetch Metadata button to fetch the SP URL.

3. Attribute Mapping (This is a premium feature)

• In the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Attribute/Role Mapping tab.
• In the User Attributes section, enter the following information and click on Save .
• You can also add more attributes by clicking on + sign to add attributes.
