OTP Verification for Forminator Forms

Forminator Form allows you to create contact forms for your website on WordPress. OTP Verification plugin verifies phone/email of users by sending OTP Verification code before submitting any Forminator Form. The purpose of this guide is to help you set up OTP Verification for your Forminator Form.

1.Setup Phone Verification for Forminator Form

• Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin, then search and select Forminator Form.

• Enable the checkbox next to Forminator Forms.

• Enable phone verification and then click on "Click here" to see the list of Forminator forms.

• Click on the Edit option of your form in Forminator Forms plugin

• Note the Form ID from the Form Settings Page.
• Add a Phone Number field to your form. Note the Field slug of the Phone Field, which will be written like this, e.g. phone-1

• Go back to the form settings and add the Form ID, Phone Field Slug which you've noted down at previous step.

• Click on the Save Settings button.
• To test the OTP functionality, go to the page with your Forminator Form.
• Fill all the required fields and click on the Click Here to send OTP button to send the OTP to your phone.
• Enter the OTP received in the verification field, click on the Verify OTP button, and after verify OTP, click on submit.

2.Setup Email Verification for Forminator Form

• Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin, then search and select Forminator Form.

• Enable the checkbox next to Forminator Forms.

• Enable Email Verification and then click on "Click here" to see the list of Forminator Forms.

• Click on the Edit option of your form in Forminator Forms plugin

• Note the Form ID from the Form Settings Page.
• Add a Email Field field to your form. Note the Field slug of the Email Field, which will be written like this, e.g. email-1

• Go back to the form settings and add the Form ID, Email Field Slug which you've noted down at previous step.

• Click on the Save Settings button.
• To test the OTP functionality, go to the page with your Forminator Form.
• Fill all the required fields and click on the Click Here to send OTP button to send the OTP to your phone.
• Enter the OTP received in the verification field, click on the Verify OTP button, and after verify OTP, click on submit.
