How to setup OTP Verification for Forminator Forms?

Pre-requisites : Download And Installation

• Download our miniOrange OTP Verification plugin and Forminator Forms on your WordPress website.

Getting started with the setup

Let's explore how to set up the Forminator Form for the OTP Verification plugin.

OTP Verification on Forminator Form

You can verify the users through the Phone or Email verification method.

• Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin then search and select Forminator Forms from the list.

• Enable checkbox next to Forminator Forms contact form.

Phone Verification
Email Verification

• Enable Phone Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

• Select your Forminator Form Template from the list and note to the Form ID.
• Then, click on the Edit link.

• Add a new Phone field if it doesn’t already exist and Note to the Field Slug. (e.g. phone-1)

• Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, and Phone Field Slug.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your Forminator Form page, fill all the required field and click on Click Here to Send OTP.
• Enter the OTP received on the phone. OTP will be sent to the phone number associated with that user.
• Then, click on the Verify OTP button.
• Fill in all the required form details, and after completing OTP verification, click the Submit button.

• Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

• Enable Email Verification and click on Click here to see your list of forms.

• Select your Forminator Form Template from the list and note to the Form ID.
• Then, click on the Edit link.

• Add a new Email field if it doesn’t already exist and Note to the Field Slug. (e.g. email-1)

• Now go to the Forms Settings page and enter the Form ID, and Email Field Slug.
• After that click on the Save Settings button.

• Go to your Forminator Form page, fill all the required field and click on Click Here to Send OTP.
• Enter the OTP received on your email. OTP will be sent to your email associated with that user.
• Then, click on the Verify OTP button.
• Fill in all the required form details, and after completing OTP verification, click the Submit button.

• Form will be submitted after successfully OTP verification.

Change verification button text

You can change the text on the verification button.

• Go to the Form settings page.
• Enter the text you want to use for the verification button and click on the Save Settings button.
