Follow the Step-by-Step Guide given below for Zoho Desk Single Sign On (SSO)

1. Configure Zoho Desk for SSO

• Open your WordPress site, install and activate the Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin on your WordPress site
  which is acting as Identity Provider.
• Now go to the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the IDP Metadata tab. Here, you can find the Identity Provider Metadata URL or you can Download the Metadata File.
• You will find IDP Entity ID, SAML Login URL, SAML Logout URL (Premium Feature), Certificate. You would need these to configure the Service Provider(Zoho Desk).

• Navigate to Zoho Desk admin portal.
• Click on the Setup icon in the top bar, and under the Channels menu, click on the Help Center.
• Select the Help Center in which you want to authenticate users using SAML.
• Click User Authentication under the Help Center sub-menu. You will see the SAML tab open up in Zoho.

• Enter the values into the Zoho Desk SAML configuration tab by referring to the table below.

Remote Login URL	Enter the SAML Login URL from the IDP Metadata tab of WordPress IDP Plugin.
Reset Password URL	Enter the password reset link of your Zoho Desk portal.
Public Key (Provide Public Key in .txt or .pem extension file only)	Download the certificate you obtained in previous step and open it in Notepad. Copy and paste its contents into a new file and save it as .txt file. Upload the new file here.

2. Configure WordPress (WP) as IdP (Identity Provider)

• In the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Service Provider tab and enter the values corresponding to the information from Zoho Desk(refer to the image below).


Service Provider Name	Name of your Service Provider.
SP Entity ID or Issuer	Copy and paste the Entity ID (Issuer) from Zoho Desk portal.
ACS URL	Copy and paste the Help Center SAML Response URL from Zoho Desk portal.
NameID Format	urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress
Assertion Signed	Checked


• Click on the Save button to save your configuration.

3. Testing SSO

• Open your Zoho desk portal in an incognito window, and click on Sign in.
• You will be redirected to your WordPress site, enter the credentials for any user stored in WordPress. After successful login, you will be redirected to the Zoho desk portal thus verifying the SSO flow.
