Zoom SSO - Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) Plugin enables Single Sign-On(SSO) login into Zoom using WordPress Login credentials. In this guide we will Setup SAML Single Sign-On(SSO) with WordPress in Zoom by configuring Zoom as Service Provider (SP) and WordPress as an Identity Provider (IDP).


Configure SSO for Zoom by following the instructions below:


Step 1: Download and Setup the plugin


  • Login to WordPress using Administrator account.
  • Download / Install this plugin - Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) and activate it. You will see WordPress IDP in your WordPress menu bar in the Dashboard.

  • Click on the WordPress IDP option in the menu bar, and select Service Providers tab.

Step 2: Configure WordPress as the Identity Provider (IDP)


  • Go to WordPress IDP Plugin on the Dashboard and select Service Providers tab.

  • Enter the following information into the corresponding fields. Click Save.


  • Service Provider Name Zoom
    SP Entity ID or Issuer https://<vanity URL>
    ACS URL https://<vanity URL>/saml/SSO
    NameID Format urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress

  • Click on the IDP Metadata tab.

Step 3: Configure Zoom as Service Provider (SP)


  • Open a new browser tab or window, Log in to your Zoom account as Admin.
  • Go to Advanced > Single Sign-On, then click Enable Single Sign-On:

  • Switch back to the tab / window with the IDP Metadata. Enter the information into the corresponding fields.

  • Sign-in page URL Copy and paste the SAML Login URL.
    Sign-out page URL Copy and paste the SAML Logout URL.
    Identity Provider Certificate Download the certificate. Open it in Notepad, copy and paste the content here..
    Service Provider (SP) Entity ID https://<vanity URL>
    Issuer (IDP-EntityID) Copy and paste the IDP-EntityID / Issuer
    Binding HTTP-Redirect
    Signature Hash Algorithm SHA-256

  • Click Save Changes to save your configuration.
