You can now Single Sign-On(SSO) / Login into 360Learning LMS using WordPress as Identity provider (IdP) with Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin. Our plugin gives you the ability to use your WordPress (WP) credentials to Single Sign-On(SSO) / Login into 360Learning LMS. Here we will go through a step-by-step guide to configure SSO between 360Learning LMS as Service Provider (SP) and WordPress as an Identity Provider (IdP).

Pre-requisites: Download And Installation

To integrate the WordPress site as an Identity Provider, you will need to install the miniOrange Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin:

Single Sign-On (SSO) login with WordPress Users into any Service Provider like Tableau, Zoho, Zoom, Moodle, Canvas LMS, Absorb LMS, TalentLMS, etc.

Follow the Step-by-Step Guide given below for 360Learning LMS Single Sign On (SSO)

1. Setup 360Learning LMS as SP (Service Provider)

  • Login to the WordPress site as Admin.
  • Go to the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the IDP Metadata tab.
  • Here, you can find the Identity Provider Metadata URL /XML Metadata or endpoints like IDP Entity ID, SAML Login URL, SAML Logout URL (Premium Feature), Certificate for SP configuration.

  • Configure SAML SSO in 360Learning lms (SP) with WordPress - 360Learning lms Single Sign on
  • Login to your 360Learning LMS domain .
  • To configure Single Sign On contact your Solution Architect, provide the information below and mail it to 360Learning support team.
  • Metadata URL Provide the data from IDP metadata tab of the WordPress miniOrange Plugin
    Certificate Provide the data from IDP metadata tab of the WordPress miniOrange Plugin
  • They will configure the SAML SSO Connection for the WordPress Identity Provider.

2. Configure WordPress (WP) as IdP (Identity Provider)

  • You would need Entity ID , ACS URL from 360Learning LMS .
  • You can find this information after the 360Learning Support team sends you the proper configuration.

  • Login to the WordPress site.
  • Install and activate the Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin on your WordPress site which is acting as Identity Provider.
  • Go to the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Service Providers tab.
  • Enter the values corresponding to the information from 360Learning LMS. Refer to the table below.
  • Service Provider Name 360Learning
    SP Entity ID or Issuer Copy and paste the SP-EntityID from 360Learning LMS
    ACS URL Copy and paste the ACS URL from 360Learning LMS
    NameID Format urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress

  • Click on the Save button to save your configuration.

3. Attribute Mapping (This is a premium feature)

  • In the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Attribute/Role Mapping tab.
  • In the User Attributes section, enter the following information and click on Save .
  • You can also add more attributes by clicking on + sign to add attributes.
  • Name User Meta Data
    FirstName first_name
    LastName last_name
