Grid Pattern Authentication is a secure two-factor authentication (2FA) method for Drupal in which users authenticate by selecting or entering numbers from a predefined visual pattern on a number grid.

Users create a unique tile pattern during setup. During login, the numbers on the grid change every session, but users must follow the same tile sequence to authenticate successfully.

No, Grid Pattern Authentication works without OTPs, mobile apps, SMS, or external devices. It is a phone-free and offline-capable authentication method.

The miniOrange Drupal Two-Factor Authentication module supports Drupal 8, Drupal 9, Drupal 10, and Drupal 11.

The numbers change dynamically in each session to improve security. Users only need to remember their selected tile pattern, not the numbers displayed during setup.

Yes, users can either enter the numbers according to their configured pattern or click the tiles following the same configured sequence.
