miniOrange Third Party User Profile Integration Add-on allows you to integrate the LDAP user profile with third-party plugins user profiles. The add-on provides the configurable option that allows the user to specify the usermeta key for a particular LDAP user attribute.
LDAP/AD Login for Intranet Sites premium plugin needs to be installed and configured.[Setup Guide]
Step 1: Download & Install [Skip these steps, if you have already installed the plugin/add-on on your WordPress site]
Login to your miniOrange Admin Console to download the LDAP Premium Plugin and miniOrange Third Party User Profile Integration Add-on.
Navigate to License >> Manage Licenses >> Plugin Releases and Downloads and download the plugin and add-on zip files.
Go to PluginsAdd New.
Click on Upload Plugin and choose the downloaded plugin/add-on zip.
After installing the Third Party User Profile Integration Add-on, activate the add-on from your Plugins page.
Step 2: Setup miniOrange Third Party User Profile Integration Add-on
Click on LDAP/AD Login for Intranet plugin from the left panel and go to Attribute Mapping tab. Scroll down to Custom LDAP to User Meta Mapping section.
To add a new usermeta field, click on + button.
Add the meta_key value and LDAP attribute.
Click on Save Configuration.
Login into your WordPress site using LDAP credentials. On successful login, you can find the user LDAP profile attributes in the wp_usermeta table.
