How To Configure WooCommerce SMS Notification

1. Configure woocommerce SMS Notification

• Go to the "Notifications" tab in the OTP Verification plugin.
• Select "WooCommerce SMS Notification" as shown in the screenshot below.

2. Enable notification based on recipients

2.1. Enable WooCommerce Notification for Admin

• Enable "Order Status" notification.
• Click on the "Edit" option.

• Enter the admin phone number on which the WooCommerce notification will be received(you can use multiple phone numbers separated by a semicolon).
• You can change your SMS template here. Add available tags inside the SMS body to replace content.
  Note For Indian customers:To modify SMS templates, first register them on the DLT portal. Learn about the registration process at DLT Registration.
• Click on the "Save Settings" button.

• Once a customer clicks on the place order button, will get an WooCommerce SMS notification.

• Also, as Order Status is enabled so on every order status change the Administrator will receive an WooCommerce SMS notification.

2.2. Enable WooCommerce Notification for Customers

• Enable "order on-hold" notification.
• Click on the "Edit" option.

• You can change your SMS Template here. Add available tags inside the SMS body to replace content for WooCommerce Notifications and premium tags are available in only WooCommerce Plan.
• Click on the "Save Settings" button.

• Go to WooCommerce Plugin, and Click on "Orders".
• Select the option "On-hold".

• Once the status changes to on hold customer will get the SMS notification of Order on-hold.

• Similarly, the user can enable the WooCommerce SMS notification for the rest of the order statuses.

3. Enable Woocommerce SMS Notification for New Account

• Enable "New Account" notification.
• You can change your SMS Template here. Add available tags inside the SMS body to replace content for WooCommerce Notifications and premium tags are available in only WooCommerce Plan.
• Click on the "Edit" option.

• Enter the SMS Body details accordingly.
• Click on the Save Settings button.

• Navigate to the default Woocommerce registration page.

• Once clicking on the Register button will receive an OTP.
• Enter the OTP received for validation, after successfully registering user will receive an SMS notification of new account creation.
