Joomla OAuth & OpenID Connect Single Sign-On (SSO) plugin enables secure login into Joomla using HubSpot as OAuth and OpenID Connect provider. You can also configure the plugin using different Oauth providers such as Azure B2C, Office 365, and other custom providers. It supports advanced Single Sign-On (SSO) features such as user profile Attribute mapping, Role mapping, etc. Here we will go through a guide to configure SSO between Joomla and HubSpot. By the end of this guide, users should be able to login to Joomla from HubSpot.

Pre-requisites : Download And Installation
- Log into your Joomla instance as an admin.
- Go to the Joomla Dashboard -> Extensions -> Manage and click on Install.
- Seach for a Joomla OAuth Client plugin and click on Install Now.
Steps to Configure HubSpot Single Sign-On (SSO) Login into Joomla
1. Setup SSO of HubSpot as OAuth Provider
- First of all, go to https://app.hubspot.com/login and sign up/login.
- After login go to Apps tab.
- Click on create app to create your app.
- Enter all the required details and click on Save button.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and paste it in miniOrange Joomla OAuth client plugin . Then Copy the Redirect/ Callback URl from miniOrange Joomla OAuth Client plugin under Configure Oauth tab and go to the Basic info -> Auth then enter it under Auth Settings -> Redirect URLs Section. Click on the Save button to save it.
- Now scroll down and enter the Scopes required for sso.
- Go to Contact & Support tab and set the company domain and verify it.
- Go to Support details, add your company support details and click on save button .
Hubspot Endpoints and Scope:

You have successfully configured HubSpot as OAuth Provider for for achieving HubSpot Single Sign-On (SSO) with Joomla for user integration.
3. Configure Attribute Mapping
- Go to Step 3 [Attribute Mapping] tab and click on Test Configuration button.
- You will be able to see the attributes in the Test Configuration output as follows.
- Now go to the Step 3 [Attribute Mapping] tab and Select the attribute name for Email and Username from dropdown. Then click on Finish Configuration button.
User Attribute Mapping is mandatory for enabling users to successfully login into Joomla. We will be setting up user profile attributes for Joomla using below settings.
4. Setup Login/SSO URL
- Now go to Step 4 [SSO URL] tab, here copy the Login/SSO URL and add it to your Site by following the given steps.
- Now logout and go to your Joomla site's pages where you have added this link. You will see a login link where you placed that button. Click on this button to perform SSO.
