How to setup OTP Verification for WooCommerce Registration Form?
WooCommerce is an open-source e-commerce plugin for WordPress that helps you build an e-commerce store. WooCommerce is a popular website builder on the market. OTP Verification Plugin verifies the Phone Number or Email address of users by sending the OTP Verification code before Registration on the WooCommerce website. The purpose of this guide is to help you setup OTP Verification for your WooCommerce Registration Form.
Follow these steps to setup OTP Verification on WooCommerce Registration Form.
1. Setup Phone Verification for WooCommerce Registration Form
Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin.
Search and select "WooCommerce Registration Form".
Enable checkbox next to WooCommerce Registration Form.
Enable "Phone Verification".
Click on "Save Settings" button to save your settings.
To test the OTP functionality, go to the page with your WooCommerce Registration form.
Fill all the requried field and Click on "Register" button.
A pop-up should come up asking you to verify yourself. Enter the OTP received and click on "Validate OTP".
1.1.Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts
Just enable the "Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts" option.
2. Setup Email Verification for WooCommerce Registration form
Go to the Forms tab in the OTP Verification plugin.
Search and select "WooCommerce Registration Form".
Enable checkbox next to WooCommerce Registration Form.
Enable "Email Verification".
Click on "Save Settings" button to save your settings.
To test the OTP functionality, go to the page with your WooCommerce Registration form.
Fill all the requried field and Click on "Register" button.
A pop-up should come up asking you to verify yourself. Enter the OTP received and click on "Validate OTP".
3. Let the user choose
"Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts" means users can't use the same phone number for more than one account. Each account needs its own unique phone number.
Just enable the "Do not allow users to use the same phone number for multiple accounts" option.
4. Possible to validate the user on the form itself without showing a popup
Just enable the "Do not show a popup. Validate user on the form itself" option.
You can set your Verification Button text that shows up on the registration form for sending OTP.
Note:This mode does not work with Let the user choose option. Please use either phone or email only.
5. Allow users to be redirected to a specific page after completing registration
Go to the "Forms settings"
Enable the "Redirect User to a specific page after registration" option. Then, choose the page where you want users to be taken after complete the registration process."
