How to Configure Quick Send Notification in OTP Verification Plugin?


In Quick Send Notification we can send custom messages to users. In this we can send custom sms through phone and e-mail. In this you can create a form using shortcode. This Quick Send notification allows sending custom message to customers and admins.

Follow the steps to send Quick Send Notifications

1. Send Custom SMS Message to user

  • Navigate to the Notifications tab in the OTP Verification plugin. After that go to the Quick Send subtab.
  • Send Notification - Go Quick Notification
  • Now go to the Send Custom SMS Message feature.
  • Enter the Phone Numbers of whom you want to send SMS.
  • Please note the Phone Numbers should be separated by semicolon.
  • Then enter the message you want to send them.
  • After that click on the Send Message button.
  • Note: Do not use more than 5 Phone numbers at a time or your account might end up getting blocked for security purposes.

    Note: For Indian customers, to modify the SMS templates you need to register the template on the DLT portal. You can read more about the DLT registration process here: DLT Registration .

    Send Notification - click Send message button
  • Your message has been successfully sent to the phone number.

2. Send Custom Email Message to user

  • Navigate to the Notifications tab in the OTP Verification plugin. After that go to the Quick Send subtab.
  • Send Notification - Go Quick Notification
  • Now go to the Send Custom Email Message feature.
  • Fill the all details and enter the message you want to send them.
  • You can also customize the message. After that click on the Send Message button.
  • Send Notification - Enter message
  • Your message has been successfully sent to the Email.

3. Send Custom SMS Message to user using Shortcode

  • Navigate to the Notifications tab in the OTP Verification plugin. After that go to the Quick Send subtab.
  • Send Notification - Go Quick Notification
  • Page Scroll down and go to the Phone Shortcode feature.
  • Copy the Phone Shortcode [mo_custom_sms] and go to the Pages>Add New.
  • Send Notification - Copy phone shortcode
  • Enter the Page name and click Add Block symbol. Search and select Shortcode option.
  • Send Notification - Select shortcode
  • Enter the Phone Shortcode and click on the Publish button.
  • Send Notification - enter phone shortcode
  • Then click on the View Page button.
  • Send Notification - click view page button
  • Redirect to the created page. Only logged in users can send Messages.
  • Enter the Phone Numbers of whom you want to send SMS.

  • Copy the Email Shortcode [mo_custom_email] and go to the Pages>Add New.
  • Send Notification - copy Email shortcode
  • Enter the Page name and click Add Block symbol. Search and select Shortcode option.
  • Send Notification - click add block
  • Enter the Email Shortcode and click on the Publish button.
  • Send Notification - Enter shortcode
  • Then click on the View Page button.
  • Send Notification - Click view page
  • Redirect to the created page. Only logged in users can send Messages.

  • You can also customize the message. After that click on the Send Email button.
  • Send Notification - click Send email button
  • Your message has been successfully sent to the Email.
