Pre-requisites: Application Installation

To configure Inventory Sync between Shopify and S&S Activewear, you will need to install the Inventory Sync application on your stores.

• Log in to your Shopify Admin.
• Go to Apps → Shopify App Store.
• Search for miniOrange Inventory Sync.
• Click Install to add the app to your store.
• Open the app from Apps to start S&S Activewear Shopify Inventory Sync configuration.
• API access credentials from S&S Activewear (Account Number and API Key) to easily import S&S Activewear products to Shopify.
• Access to your Shopify store's location settings for proper inventory mapping.

Step-by-Step guide for configuring Inventory Sync between Shopify and S&S Activewear

Step 1: Install Shopify Inventory Sync App

• Add the Shopify Inventory Sync application to your store to start S&S Activewear Shopify integration.
• Click "Create Connection" to begin the setup.

Step 2: Choose Connection Source

• Select S&S Activewear as the connection source from the list of suppliers.

• Select S&S Activewear as the connection source from the list of suppliers.

Step 3: Connection Setup

• To establish the connection, provide a suitable “Connection Name” to identify the connection.
• Enter your S&S Activewear credentials, which include your ”Account Number” and “API key”
• Choose either the US or Canada based on your preferred inventory location.
• Click on the “Test Connection” button.

Step 4: Location Mapping

• Select your S&S Locations (Source Locations) and Store Location (Destination Location).

• Click on the "Add location" button to map multiple locations.
• Click on the "Save & Next" button.

Step 5: Filter brands

• Navigate to the Filter Brands tab and enable the Brand Filter option. Turning this on allows you to filter products by specific brands from S&S.

• Select the brands you want to include in the sync. Only products that match the selected brands will be synchronized.

Step 6: Schedule Sync

• Enable the “Schedule sync” option to choose how often to sync inventory products.

• Choose “Select Schedule” from the dropdown how often you want to sync your inventory products (i.e, Hourly, Daily, Weekly)
• Enter the “Sync Interval”. (In case you have selected Schedule as “Hourly”, you will be required to enter sync interval in hours, while in all other cases you should enter a “Time” at which you want your import or sync to start.)
• Click on the “Save & Next” button.

Step 7: Price Update

• Enable the “Price Update” button to apply the pricing rule to all products in the store.

• Click on the “Add Rule” option to add pricing rules. (You can add pricing rules from the list. There are three different types of pricing rules available, e.g, Fixed Amount, Percentage, and Custom expression.)

Custom Expression — This option allows you to manually define how a value should be calculated rather than using a fixed number or pre-defined formula. You can enter your mathematical formula in the form of an expression like “Price*5/2”, Where price — A variable representing the original price, * — Multiplication operator, / — Division operator. To configure a pricing rule, select 'Updated by', 'Operations', and 'Value'.

• Then, click on the “Save & Next” button.

Step 8: Publication

• Choose all “Sales Channels” where you want to publish your products.
• Then, click on the “Save & Next” button.

Step 9: Order Sync

• Select the Order Sync tab to access the order synchronization settings.
• Enable the Order Sync option to allow the app to automatically create new orders in S&S Activewear.

• Enable Auto Fulfillment if you want orders to be automatically fulfilled once payment is completed.
• When enabled, orders are processed automatically without requiring any manual action to create them in S&S Activewear. Else, orders must be manually marked as fulfilled before they are created.

• Enable the Test Order option to send test orders, validate the order processing workflow, and ensure that the integration with S&S Activewear is working as expected.

• Under Connection Settings, configure the Payment Profile used to process orders.
• Enter the email address associated with your payment profile and click Fetch Profiles.

• Select the appropriate Payment Profile from the dropdown list. The selected profile will be used to process orders in S&S Activewear.

• Locate and enable the Disable Dropshipping option as shown below.
• Once enabled, orders will be placed using the selected store address. Else, orders will be placed using the customer's shipping address.

• Click on the Save & Next button to apply the changes. Your Order sync settings will now be active.
• Once the configuration is complete, orders from your Shopify store will be automatically synced with S&S Activewear.
• Order creation and fulfillment will follow the rules defined in the configuration settings.
• No manual intervention will be required for standard order processing.

Step 10: Manual Sync

This is optional. If you have already configured the schedule sync option, the products will be imported and synced automatically at the scheduled time. The Schedule Sync option is recommended to import and sync the products regularly.
Use this option if you want to import the products right away.

• Click on “Import Products” to transfer your products from source to store.

• Once the “Import Products” button is clicked, the transfer of products from the source to the store starts immediately. However, the completion of the process may take about an hour.

• The process of product import is complete.
