GoToMeeting SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) | Login into GoToMeeting using WordPress

GoToMeeting ensures a quality web conferencing experience by offering the virtual meeting platform features your business needs. miniOrange SAML IDP for WordPress ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin gives you the ability to use your WordPress credentials to log into GoToMeeting. Here we will go through a step-by-step guide to configure SSO between, GoToMeeting as Service Provider and WordPress as an Identity Provider.

  • Open your WordPress site, install and activate the miniOrange SAML IDP for WordPress ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin on your WordPress site which is acting as Identity Provider.
  • Now go to the SAML IDP plugin for WordPress, navigate to the IDP Metadata tab. Here, you can find the Identity Provider Metadata URL or you can Download the Metadata File.
  • You will find IDP Entity ID, SAML Login URL, SAML Logout URL (Premium Feature), Certificate. You would need these to configure the Service Provider(GoToMeeting).
  • You will need these details to configure the Service provider(GoToMeeting).

  • Login to GoToMeeting as an admin.
  • In the Email Domains tab add the email domain from which you want to allow users to login using your identity provider.
  • In the Identity Provider tab, select Manual from the drop-down menu.

  • Enter the values by referring to the table below.
Identity Provider Entity ID Enter the IDP Entity value from the IDP Metadata tab of SAML IDP Plugin for WordPress.
Sign-in page url Enter the SAML Login URL value from the IDP Metadata tab of SAML IDP Plugin for WordPress.
Verification certificate Download the Certificate from the from the IDP Metadata tab of SAML IDP Plugin for WordPress and upload it here.

  • In the SAML IDP plugin for WordPress, navigate to the Service Provider tab and enter the values corresponding to the information from GoToMeeting.
Service Provider Name Name of your Service Provider
SP Entity ID or Issuer The GoTo SAML Service’s entityID is the metadata url. The IdP may sometimes refer to it as the IssuerID or the AppID.
ACS URL Post Back Url/ Reply URL/ Single Sign On URL.
NameID Format urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress
Assertion Signed Checked
