Moxo SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) | Login into Moxo using WordPress

Moxo provides a OneStop Client Hub for managing client interactions through modern digital automation. Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin gives you the ability to use your WordPress credentials to log into Moxo. Here we will go through a step-by-step guide to configure SSO between, Moxo as Service Provider and WordPress as an Identity Provider.


  • Open your WordPress site, install and activate the Login using WordPress Users ( WP as SAML IDP ) plugin on your WordPress site
    which is acting as Identity Provider.
  • Now go to the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the IDP Metadata tab. Here, you can find the Identity Provider Metadata URL or you can Download the Metadata File.
  • You will find IDP Entity ID, SAML Login URL, SAML Logout URL (Premium Feature), Certificate. You would need these to configure the Service provider(Moxo).

  • Login to your Moxtra account as an Administrator.
  • Click Admin on the left, then SAML Single Sign-on and click New to create the SAML config.

  • In the Name field, enter a unique name.
  • In the Idp Entity ID field, enter the IDP-EntityID/Issuer from the IDP Metadata tab of the WordPress IDP Plugin.
  • From the SP Entity ID list, select https://www.moxtra.com.
  • Check enable saml.
  • In the Login URL field, enter the SAML Login URL/Passive Login URL from the IDP Metadata tab of the WordPress IDP Plugin.
  • In the AuthnContextClassRef field, enter urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:ac:classes:unspecified.
  • In the NameID Format field, select urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:nameid-format:persistent.
  • In the SAML email domain field, enter your domain name.
  • Click Save/Update. If it is successfully saved, the ACS URL is displayed in the Access Consumer Service Endpoint field.
  • Enter the values by referring to the table below.
IdP Entity ID Enter the IDP Entity value from the IDP Metadata tab of WordPress IDP Plugin.
Login URL Enter the SAML Login URL value from the IDP Metadata tab of WordPress IDP Plugin.
Certificate Download the Certificate from the from the IDP Metadata tab of WordPress IDP Plugin and upload it here.

  • In the WordPress IDP plugin, navigate to the Service Provider tab and enter the values corresponding to the information from Moxo.
Service Provider Name Name of your Service Provider.
SP Entity ID or Issuer https://www.moxtra.com
ACS URL Access Consumer Service Endpoint
NameID Format urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:nameid-format:persistent
Assertion Signed Checked

  • Click on the Save button to save your configuration.

    In WordPress:


  • In the WordPress IDP plugin,navigate to the Attribute/Role Mapping tab.
  • In the User Attributes section, enter the following information and click Save .
  • Click on + sign to add attributes.

lastName last_name
