Steps to Configure Weibo Social Login into WordPress (WP)

Step 1: Configure Weibo Social Login into Your WordPress

Follow the steps below to configure Weibo login in WordPress

 Configure Weibo Social Login

• Go to Click Here and sign in with your weibo app developer account.
• From the Developers site home page, click on Website access from the dropdown menu.

• Click on Instant Access button.

• Enter app name in the application name field. Note that your application name cannot include blank spaces.
• Select I have read and accepted the “microblogging developer agreement” and then click on Create button.

• Select the Advanced settings tab. Click on Edit button.

• Enter your redirect URL in the Authorization callback page field and enter your Website URL in Cancel authorization callback field then click on Save Changes button.

• Go back to Basic Settings tab. Copy the App key and App Secret from the app basic information

Step 2: Set credentials in miniOrange Social Login Plugin

• Copy the Client Id and Client Secret form above setup and Paste them into the fields in Instructions.

• Then click on Save & Test Configuration button.

• Custom app will set properly when Test configuration get successful
• Go to miniOrange Social Login Plugin → Click on Configure Apps → click on Weibo :

• Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from the app credentials section and paste it on the Weibo Instructions page.

• Then click on Save & Test Configuration button.

• If you aren’t already logged in, please log in to Weibo.
• A notification from the plugin that the test was successful will be shown. That means your Weibo custom app was set properly.

• Now you can see that Weibo login is enabled on your WordPress site.
