Steps to Configure Yahoo Social Login into WordPress (WP)

Step 1. Configure Yahoo Social Login into Your WordPress

Follow the steps below to configure Yahoo login in WordPress

  • Go to Here Sign in with your yahoo account and select Apps from the menubar.

  • On the page, Click on the Create an App button.

  • Enter Application Name and select Application Type as Web Application.
  • Enter the Callback/Redirect URL (from your social login Instructions)in the Home Page URL and Callback Domain,Select all API Permissions.Click on Create App to save your configurations.

  • You will recieve your Client Id and Client Secret in my Yahoo apps section. (Refer to the image below).

2. Set credentials in miniOrange Social Login Plugin

  • Go to miniOrange Social Login → Click on Configure Apps → click on Yahoo:
  • Copy the Client Id and Client Secret form above setup and Paste them into the fields in Yahoo Instructions page.

  • Then click on Save & Test Configuration button for Yahoo.

  • A notification from the plugin that The test was successful will be shown. That means your Custom app will set properly. Here you will get your ID, username and other Yahoo App details.
  • Now, You can see the Yahoo Social Login button is activated on your WordPress Website. This will allow users to connect to your website using Yahoo.
