How to Customize Security Question (KBA) with 2-Factor Authentication plugin for WordPress?

The miniOrange 2-Factor Authentication plugin lets you customize the KBA security questions users see during setup. You can add your own questions, edit the existing ones, and choose how many questions users need to set. This helps make the login process more personal and secure for your users.

Let’s see how an administrator customize Security Questions (KBA) for users.

  • Go to the White Labelling tab in the miniOrange 2-Factor Authentication plugin, and then click on the 2FA Customizations subtab.
  • Custom Security Questions KBA - White Labelling Tab

  • You can edit the list of Security Questions and set how many custom questions users can add during setup.
  • You can add a question by clicking the plus button.
  • Here, I have customized a question, “What is your favourite color?”.
  • KBA Security Questions - Click plus button

  • Set the number of defaults and custom questions configured during the security setup.
  • After that, click on the Save Settings button.
