Setup Google Authenticator plugin using two factor authentication for WP

Follow these steps to Set up miniOrange Two Factor Authentication plugin-
Step 1: Install miniOrange Two Factor Plugin
- Login to your WordPress instance and click on Plugins Add New.
- Search for Google Authenticator Plugin and click on Install Now Activate button.
Step 2: Configure miniOrange Two Factor Plugin
- Click on miniOrange 2-factor plugin from the left side menu.
- miniOrange provides limited authentication method in free version, for more information click here. For now, click on Configure button underneath the Google Authenticator tab.
- Now, you will be redirected to the google authenticator Configuration page.
- Select Google Authenticator from the ‘Choose an Authenticator app’ dropdown list.
- Click on the respective links to install the Google Authenticator app from the Google Play Store or the App Store.
- Now, open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile and scan the QR code from your authenticator mobile app.
- After that, enter the security code shown in the app for your account in the Code input field provided, click on the Verify and Save button for verification.
- Google Authenticator has been set as your two factor authentication method.
- Click on the Test it button.
- Enter the six-digit code from the Google Authenticator mobile app and click on the Submit button.
- Once your 2-factor setup is complete, when you login next time you will be asked to authenticate your identity using selected two factor method.
