Steps to Configure Twitter Social Login into PrestaShop

Step 1: Configure Twitter app for login to PrestaShop :

Follow the steps below to configure Twitter Social login in PrestaShop

 Configure Twitter Social Login

• Go to Twitter developers console by clicking here and Sign up/Login with your Twitter developer account.
• Go to the Twitter Developers Portal and click on Create App button.

• Enter the App Name and click on Complete button.

• Click on app name from left section menu and click on Settings tab.

• Click on Edit authentication settings button.

• Enable 3-legged OAuth.

• Enter Callback URL(from instructions page) and Website URL then click on Save button.

• Go to Keys and Tokens tab and click on Regenerate button.

• Copy API Key and API Secret and save it in your Social Login App on PrestaShop. (under client id and client secret field respectively).

Step 2: Setup Twitter login in PrestaShop Module :

• Install Social Login Module by miniOrange. Then go to Module Manager.
• Once you have installed it, click on Configure to go to the Social login application dashboard. Here, please click on Twitter.

• Copy the Client Id and Client Secret from the Twitter Developer and Paste them into the fields in Twitter Login Instructions screen on the Social login app.

• Click on the Save button to save the credentials. Then, Click on the Test Configuration button.
• A window will appear and ask you to login to your Twitter account. This is to Test Configuration for Twitter. Login with the account which you used to register the account in Twitter for Developer. Press the Continue as button to complete the login process.
• A notification from the app will pop-up that the test configuration was successful. That means your Custom app was set properly.

• Go to the App Dashboard and click on the toggle button on Twitter icon to activate Twitter login button so that people can sign-in to your store using Twitter.

• Now, You can see the Twitter social Login button is activated on your PrestaShop Store. This will allow users to connect to your store using Twitter.

Step 3: Display Options for Social Login Icons :

• Navigate to Display Options and you will find all the available display options where you can display social login icons.

• Select all the options where you want to display social login icons.

• All of the sections that have been enabled in the display options section will have social login icons displayed.
