Steps to Configure Meetup Social Login into PrestaShop

Step 1: Add miniOrange Social Login Module to your PrestaShop Store :

Follow the steps below to configure Meetup Social login in PrestaShop

 Configure Meetup Social Login

• Go to Social Login Module for PrestaShop on PrestaShop marketplace. Click on Add to cart to install it on your store.

• Once you have installed it, it will take you to the Module Manager tab.

• Click on Configure button.

• To Setup a custom app for Meetup, please follow the steps below.

Step 2: Configure Meetup app for login to PrestaShop :

• Click here and sign in to your Meetup app developer account.
• On Meetup app developer account dashboard Click on OAuth Consumers tab.

• Once you are on OAuth Consumers tab click on "Create New Consumer" or "Create one now".

• Consumer name : Name of your Meetup app.
• Redirect URI : Copy Redirect URL from instructions page.
• Check "Yes, I agree" checkbox for Platform Terms of Service and click on "Register Consumer".
• NOTE: All the details on the Register OAuth Consumer page are mandatory and need to be filled before clicking on Register Consumer

• Once App is created successfully, you'll see the key and secret of the app.
• Copy Client ID and Client Secret : key is Client ID and secret is Client secret.

Step 3: Setup Meetup login in PrestaShop Module :

• Install Social Login Module by miniOrange. Then go to Module Manager.
• Once you have installed it, click on Configure to go to the Social login application dashboard.

• This will take you to the social login dashboard. Here, please click on Meetup.

• Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from the Meetup Developer and Paste them into the fields in Meetup Login Instructions screen on the Social login app.

• Click on the Save button to save the credentials. Then, Click on the Test Configuration button.

• A notification from the app will pop-up that the test configuration was successful. That means your Custom app was set properly.

• Go to the App Dashboard and click on the toggle button on Meetup icon to activate Meetup login button so that people can sign-in to your store using Connect with Meetup.

• Now, You can see the Meetup social Login button is activated on your PrestaShop Store. This will allow users to connect to your store using Meetup.

Step 4: Display Options for Social Login Icons

• Navigate to Display Options and you will find all the available display options where you can display social login icons.

• Select all the options where you want to display social login icons.

• All of the sections that have been enabled in the display options section will have social login icons displayed.
